The compatibility gotcha with CertainTeed is color lot. CertainTeed discontinues colorways periodically, and even active colors shift slightly between manufacturing runs. For discontinued colors, we source from CertainTeed’s spec-matched third-party suppliers or recommend a compatible architectural shingle from GAF or Owens Corning when a blended repair makes more sense.
